Description

A delicious and creamy dish featuring chicken thighs cooked in garlic butter and topped with a rich Parmesan mushroom cream sauce.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 4 tablespoons garlic butter
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet, melt garlic butter over medium heat.
  3. Add chicken thighs and sear until golden brown on both sides.
  4. Remove chicken and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add sliced mushrooms and sauté until soft.
  6. Pour in heavy cream and stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  7. Season with salt and pepper.
  8. Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over the top, and transfer to the oven.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half.
  • Serve with rice or pasta to soak up the sauce.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
