Ingredients

  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 4 slices of bread (white, sourdough, or whole grain)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, garlic powder, and dried parsley until smoothly combined.
  2. Spread the garlic butter generously on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Place two slices of bread butter-side down on a heated skillet or griddle and top each with half of the cheese.
  4. Top with the remaining slices of bread, butter-side up.
  5. Cook on low heat for 4–5 minutes until the bottom is golden, then flip and cook for another 4–5 minutes until the other side is golden and cheese is melty.
  6. Remove from heat, slice diagonally, and serve immediately.
