Description

Grilled chicken breast marinated in a sweet and tangy honey mustard blend, perfect for summer gatherings or weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl until combined.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Seal and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (up to 4 hours).
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade, letting excess drip off, and place on the grill. Grill for 6-7 minutes on each side until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  5. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired, and serve.

Notes

Marinating the chicken longer enhances flavor. This recipe also works in an air fryer or baked at 400°F for 25-30 minutes.
