Ingredients

- 2 slices of bread
- 100g duck breast, cooked and sliced
- 50g goat cheese, crumbled
- 2 slices of Gruyère cheese
- 2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Spread Dijon mustard on one side of each slice of bread.
- Layer the duck breast and goat cheese on one slice of bread, then top with Gruyère cheese.
- Place the other slice of bread on top, mustard side down.
- Spread butter on the outside of both slices of bread.
- Place the sandwich in a skillet over medium heat and cook until golden brown on both sides.
- Transfer the sandwich to the oven and bake for 5-10 minutes until the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the oven, slice, and serve hot.
Notes
- For a vegetarian option, substitute duck with sautéed mushrooms.
- Pair with a side salad for a complete meal.
- Feel free to add herbs like thyme or rosemary for extra flavor.
