- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 1/2 cup salsa
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 8–10 corn or flour tortillas
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or prepare your air fryer.
- Combine shredded chicken, cream cheese, shredded cheese, salsa, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl until blended.
- Warm tortillas in a skillet or microwave until pliable.
- Spoon approximately 2 tablespoons of the chicken filling onto each tortilla and roll up tightly.
- Place seam-side down on a lined baking sheet.
- Brush or spray the taquitos with oil.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until crispy and golden brown.
- Serve warm with sour cream, guacamole, or extra salsa for dipping.
Notes
Make ahead by freezing assembled taquitos before baking. Simply add a few extra minutes to the cooking time when baking from frozen.
