Description

Deliciously crunchy creamy chicken taquitos filled with shredded chicken, cream cheese, and zesty salsa, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 810 corn or flour tortillas

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or prepare your air fryer.
  2. Combine shredded chicken, cream cheese, shredded cheese, salsa, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl until blended.
  3. Warm tortillas in a skillet or microwave until pliable.
  4. Spoon approximately 2 tablespoons of the chicken filling onto each tortilla and roll up tightly.
  5. Place seam-side down on a lined baking sheet.
  6. Brush or spray the taquitos with oil.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until crispy and golden brown.
  8. Serve warm with sour cream, guacamole, or extra salsa for dipping.

Notes

Make ahead by freezing assembled taquitos before baking. Simply add a few extra minutes to the cooking time when baking from frozen.
