  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Brown the Sausage: In a skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and add the sliced sausage, cooking until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes.
  3. Sauté the Vegetables: Add the onion, garlic, and bell pepper to the skillet. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until softened.
  4. Create the Sauce: Stir in heavy cream, chicken broth, and Cajun seasoning, allowing to simmer until slightly thickened.
  5. Combine & Season: Introduce the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Serve immediately.
