- 4 salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Season the salmon fillets with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the salmon fillets and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt the butter and add minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine.
- Add paprika and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Return the salmon to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the top.
- Simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add more Cajun seasoning.
- Serve with rice or pasta to soak up the sauce.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
