Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the salmon fillets with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the salmon fillets and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt the butter and add minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine.
  6. Add paprika and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
  7. Return the salmon to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the top.
  8. Simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add more Cajun seasoning.
  • Serve with rice or pasta to soak up the sauce.
