- 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 4 slices of bacon, chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the Brussels sprouts and cook until they are tender and slightly browned.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and combined.
- Add the cooked bacon back into the skillet and mix well.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
- For a vegetarian version, omit the bacon and use vegetable broth instead of cream.
- Feel free to add other vegetables like mushrooms or spinach for extra flavor.
