Ingredients

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 4 slices of bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add the Brussels sprouts and cook until they are tender and slightly browned.
  3. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  5. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and combined.
  6. Add the cooked bacon back into the skillet and mix well.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!

  • For a vegetarian version, omit the bacon and use vegetable broth instead of cream.
