A delightful fusion of cinnamon rolls and apple pie, this Cinnamon Roll Apple Lasagna is perfect for autumn gatherings.
Ingredients

- 2 packs of refrigerated cinnamon rolls
- 4 cups of peeled and sliced apples
- 1 cup of brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/2 cup of cream cheese
- 1 cup of whipped cream or Cool Whip
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup of chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix together the sliced apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl.
- Beat the cream cheese with the vanilla extract until smooth.
- Unroll the cinnamon rolls and spread a layer at the bottom of a greased baking dish.
- Layer half of the spiced apple mixture on top of the cinnamon rolls.
- Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the apple layer.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Consider using Greek yogurt instead of whipped cream for a lighter version.
