Description

A delightful fusion of cinnamon rolls and apple pie, this Cinnamon Roll Apple Lasagna is perfect for autumn gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 packs of refrigerated cinnamon rolls
  • 4 cups of peeled and sliced apples
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup of cream cheese
  • 1 cup of whipped cream or Cool Whip
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup of chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix together the sliced apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl.
  3. Beat the cream cheese with the vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Unroll the cinnamon rolls and spread a layer at the bottom of a greased baking dish.
  5. Layer half of the spiced apple mixture on top of the cinnamon rolls.
  6. Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the apple layer.
  7. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
  8. Bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Consider using Greek yogurt instead of whipped cream for a lighter version.
