Description

Ingredients

  • 1 chocolate cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • ½ cup salted caramel sauce
  • ½ cup chocolate chips
  • ½ cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour a round cake pan.
  3. Combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil in a large bowl. Whisk until smooth.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes.
  5. Allow the cake to cool for about 10 minutes in the pan.
  6. Poke holes in the top of the cake.
  7. Drizzle salted caramel sauce over the cake.
  8. Let the cake cool completely.
  9. Spread whipped topping over the cooled cake.
  10. Sprinkle chocolate chips and chopped pecans on top.
  11. Slice and serve.

Notes
