- 1 chocolate cake mix
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup water
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup whipped topping
- ½ cup salted caramel sauce
- ½ cup chocolate chips
- ½ cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour a round cake pan.
- Combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil in a large bowl. Whisk until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes.
- Allow the cake to cool for about 10 minutes in the pan.
- Poke holes in the top of the cake.
- Drizzle salted caramel sauce over the cake.
- Let the cake cool completely.
- Spread whipped topping over the cooled cake.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips and chopped pecans on top.
- Slice and serve.
