- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
- Beat together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, peanut butter, and egg until smooth and creamy.
- Stir in the milk and vanilla extract to the peanut butter mixture.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix gently until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared muffin cups, filling each about two-thirds full.
- Swirl dollops of peanut butter into each muffin.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow the muffins to cool briefly in the pan before transferring them to a wire rack.
