- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large pot, boil the diced potatoes until tender, about 10-15 minutes.
- Add the broccoli florets to the pot and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
- Drain the potatoes and broccoli and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- In a baking dish, layer the potatoes and broccoli, then pour the cream mixture over the top.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese and grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a lighter version, you can substitute heavy cream with low-fat milk.
- Feel free to add other vegetables like carrots or bell peppers for extra flavor.
