Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a loaf pan by greasing it.
  2. Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Whisk together until evenly blended.
  4. In another bowl, whisk the melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently stir until just combined.
  6. Beat the softened cream cheese in a separate bowl until smooth and creamy.
  7. Layer half of the batter into the loaf pan, followed by half of the cream cheese mixture and drizzle with caramel sauce.
  8. Repeat the layers with the remaining batter, cream cheese, and caramel sauce.
  9. Use a knife to swirl the mixtures to create marbled patterns.
  10. Bake for 60-70 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  11. Cool the loaf in the pan for 15 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.

Notes

Bake a day in advance for enhanced flavor. You can also bake in an air fryer at a lower temperature.
