Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease your cake pan with butter or use cooking spray for easy release.
- Combine cake flour, sugar, softened butter, milk, eggs, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl using an electric mixer on medium speed. Beat until you achieve a smooth batter—about 2-3 minutes.
- Pour the batter into your prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted into the center.
- Allow the cake to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.
- Prepare the butterscotch pudding according to package instructions.
- Spread the butterscotch pudding over the cooled cake.
- Add a cloud of whipped topping over the pudding.
- Sprinkle crushed graham crackers or toffee bits on top.
- Drizzle butterscotch sauce over the dessert before serving.
