Description

A bold and flavorful buffalo chicken wrap filled with spicy chicken, fresh vegetables, and creamy ranch dressing.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp fine sea salt
  • 0.5 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 0.5 cup Texas Pete® Original Hot Sauce or Crystal® Hot Sauce
  • 1 tbsp melted butter (optional)
  • 6 large burrito-size flour tortillas
  • 3 cups shredded romaine or iceberg lettuce
  • 0.5 cups Tillamook Farmstyle Shredded Medium Cheddar Cheese
  • 0.5 cups sliced fresh tomatoes
  • 3 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 0.33 cup fresh cilantro, roughly chopped
  • 0.5 cup ranch dressing

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry and season them generously with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper on both sides.
  3. Place the seasoned chicken on the baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil, ensuring each piece is lightly coated.
  4. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  5. Remove the chicken from the oven, and let it rest for 5 to 10 minutes.
  6. Shred the chicken using two forks or a stand mixer.
  7. Combine the shredded chicken with the hot sauce and melted butter.
  8. Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet for about 15 seconds per side.
  9. Lay a tortilla flat and add about 0.5 cup buffalo chicken in the center.
  10. Top with 0.5 cup shredded lettuce, cheddar cheese, a few tomato slices, green onions, and cilantro.
  11. Drizzle 1 to 2 tbsp ranch dressing over the filling.
  12. Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll tightly from the bottom up to form a secure wrap.
  13. Serve immediately or slice in half to enjoy.
