Ingredients
Scale
- 1 fully cooked bone-in ham (about 8–10 pounds)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Score the surface of the ham with shallow diamond cuts.
- Mix the glaze ingredients in a bowl until brown sugar dissolves.
- Place the scored ham in a roasting pan and brush generously with glaze, saving some for basting.
- Cover loosely with aluminum foil and bake for 1.5 to 2 hours, basting every 20 minutes.
- Remove the foil for the last 30 minutes to let the glaze caramelize.
- Rest the ham for 15-20 minutes before slicing.
Notes
Make the glaze a day ahead for enhanced flavor. Consider using an air fryer for smaller hams.
