- 1 fully cooked ham (about 8–10 pounds)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon cloves
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Orange zest for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Combine the brown sugar, honey, orange juice, Dijon mustard, ground cinnamon, cloves, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl and whisk until smooth.
- Place the ham in a roasting pan and score the surface in a diamond pattern.
- Brush half of the glaze over the ham and cover it with foil.
- Bake for 1 hour.
- Remove the foil, brush with the remaining glaze, and continue baking for 30-45 minutes, basting every 15 minutes.
- Let the ham rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
- Garnish with orange zest before serving.
Notes
You can prepare the glaze a day in advance for deeper flavor. Be sure to score the ham to allow the glaze to penetrate and enhance flavor.
