Ingredients

  • 2 cups pretzel crust
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 2 cups fresh blackberries
  • 1/4 cup sugar (for blackberry topping)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 packet of gelatin (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the pretzel crust by crushing pretzels into coarse pieces and combining with melted butter and 1/4 cup sugar. Press into a 9×13-inch pan and bake for 10 minutes.
  3. Make the cream cheese layer by blending cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped topping and spread over the cooled crust.
  4. Prepare the blackberry topping by mixing blackberries, 1/4 cup sugar, and lemon juice. Fold in gelatin if using.
  5. Layer the blackberry mixture over the cream cheese layer.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
  7. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

This dessert can be made a day in advance for even better flavor. Ensure the crust is completely cooled before adding the cream cheese layer.
