- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tbsp flour
- 1 tsp thyme
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well and form into patties.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties until browned on both sides, about 5 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add chopped onions and sauté until translucent.
- Sprinkle flour over the onions and stir to combine, cooking for an additional minute.
- Gradually add beef broth, stirring constantly until the gravy thickens.
- Add thyme and return the patties to the skillet, simmering for 10 minutes.
- Serve hot with the onion gravy poured over the patties.
