- 0.5 cup smoked turkey or turkey sausage
- 2 cups barbecue sauce
- 0.33 cup mayonnaise
- 0.25 cup ranch dressing
- 2 cups shredded lettuce
- 0.25 red onion
- 12 squares Colby Jack cheese
Instructions
- Marinate the Chicken: In a zip-top bag, combine the chicken breasts with 1 cup of barbecue sauce. Seal and gently massage the bag, ensuring every piece gets coated. Place this in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
- Cook the Turkey Sausage: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the turkey sausage until it turns golden brown and crispy. Set aside once done.
- Preheat the Grill: Heat your grill until it reaches medium-high heat. Cook the marinated chicken for about 6 minutes total, flipping halfway, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Prepare the Slider Rolls: Slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally and spread a layer of mayonnaise on the bottom side.
- Assemble the Sliders: Layer grilled chicken, drizzle with extra barbecue sauce, add Colby Jack cheese, turkey sausage, red onions, and shredded lettuce. Drizzle ranch dressing on top before adding the bun.
- Serve Immediately: Enjoy the sliders while warm.
