Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 bunch fresh cilantro
  • 1 head of butter lettuce, leaves separated
  • 1 jalapeño, sliced (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the ground pork over medium heat until browned.
  2. Add garlic, fish sauce, soy sauce, sugar, and black pepper. Stir well and cook for another 5 minutes.
  3. Prepare the vegetables: slice cucumber, julienne carrot, and slice red bell pepper.
  4. Assemble the wraps by placing a spoonful of the pork mixture in a lettuce leaf.
  5. Add cucumber, carrot, bell pepper, cilantro, and jalapeño on top.
  6. Wrap the lettuce around the filling and enjoy!

Notes

  • Feel free to substitute ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
  • Add more vegetables according to your preference.
