- 1 lb ground pork
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cucumber, thinly sliced
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 bunch fresh cilantro
- 1 head of butter lettuce, leaves separated
- 1 jalapeño, sliced (optional)
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook the ground pork over medium heat until browned.
- Add garlic, fish sauce, soy sauce, sugar, and black pepper. Stir well and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Prepare the vegetables: slice cucumber, julienne carrot, and slice red bell pepper.
- Assemble the wraps by placing a spoonful of the pork mixture in a lettuce leaf.
- Add cucumber, carrot, bell pepper, cilantro, and jalapeño on top.
- Wrap the lettuce around the filling and enjoy!
Notes
- Feel free to substitute ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
- Add more vegetables according to your preference.
- These wraps can be served with a dipping sauce for extra flavor.
