Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for frosting)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (for frosting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease your donut pan.
  2. Combine the mashed bananas, sugar, egg, milk, and vanilla extract in a large bowl.
  3. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon in another bowl.
  4. Stir the dry ingredients into the banana mixture until just combined.
  5. Spoon the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each cavity about 3/4 full.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool the donuts in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack.
  8. Beat the cream cheese and butter until smooth, then gradually add the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
  9. Frost the cooled donuts with the cinnamon cream cheese frosting.
