Description

Baked Feta Pasta is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that combines creamy feta cheese with roasted tomatoes and pasta for a flavorful meal.


Ingredients

  • 200g feta cheese
  • 400g cherry tomatoes
  • 300g pasta (penne or fusilli)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a baking dish, place the feta cheese in the center and surround it with cherry tomatoes.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the feta and tomatoes, then sprinkle with minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the tomatoes are blistered and the feta is soft.
  5. While the feta and tomatoes are baking, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  6. Once baked, remove the dish from the oven and mix the feta and tomatoes together to create a creamy sauce.
  7. Add the cooked pasta to the baking dish and toss to combine.
  8. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes before baking.
