Description

Delightful baked bites combining broccoli and cheese with a crispy exterior and creamy center, perfect for gatherings or a comforting snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups broccoli florets (finely chopped)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Steam your broccoli florets until tender-crisp, approximately 3-5 minutes, then cool and chop finely.
  3. Mix the chopped broccoli with breadcrumbs, cheddar, Parmesan, beaten eggs, flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Broil for the last 1-2 minutes for extra crunch, if desired.
  6. Cool slightly before serving with marinara or ranch dip.

Notes

Make ahead by preparing mixture and refrigerating for up to 24 hours. Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 10-15 minutes for a quick cook.
