Description

Baked Brie with Cranberry Jam is a delicious and elegant appetizer that combines the creamy texture of Brie cheese with the sweet and tart flavor of cranberry jam, all baked to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 1 round Brie cheese (about 8 ounces)
  • 1/2 cup cranberry jam
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped (optional)
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry (thawed)
  • 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Place the Brie cheese in the center of the puff pastry.
  4. Spread the cranberry jam over the top of the Brie.
  5. If using, sprinkle the chopped walnuts and rosemary on top of the jam.
  6. Fold the puff pastry over the Brie, sealing it completely.
  7. Brush the pastry with the beaten egg.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
