Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a doughnut pan.
- In a saucepan, boil the apple cider over medium heat until reduced to about 1 cup, then let it cool.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix the eggs, melted butter, vanilla extract, and cooled apple cider.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Fill the doughnut pan with the batter and bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Let the doughnuts cool before removing them from the pan.
- Optionally, coat the doughnuts in cinnamon sugar before serving.

- For a healthier option, substitute half of the all-purpose flour with whole wheat flour.
