Description

Bacon Jalapeno Popper Cheese Balls are a delicious appetizer that combines the flavors of crispy bacon, spicy jalapenos, and creamy cheese, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup jalapenos, diced
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, diced jalapenos, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Roll each ball in breadcrumbs until fully coated.
  5. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Fry the cheese balls in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  7. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
  8. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For extra heat, use more jalapenos or add some hot sauce to the mixture.
