- 2 cups of graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup of sugar
- 4 (8 oz) packages of cream cheese, softened
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 4 cups of sliced apples
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 1 cup of rolled oats
- 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup of chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
- In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter, then press into the bottom of a springform pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the springform pan.
- In another bowl, combine sliced apples, cinnamon, and brown sugar, then layer over the cheesecake mixture.
- In a separate bowl, mix oats, flour, and chopped nuts (if using) with melted butter, then sprinkle over the apples.
- Bake for 60-70 minutes or until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
- Allow to cool before removing from the springform pan.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use a mix of sweet and tart apples.
- Serve with whipped cream or caramel sauce for added indulgence.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
