- 4 medium apples
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Core the apples and create a small cavity in the center.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter and stir in the caramel sauce and cinnamon.
- Fill each apple with the caramel mixture.
- If using, sprinkle chopped nuts on top of the caramel.
- Place the apples in a baking dish and cover with foil.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the apples are tender.
- In the last 5 minutes, remove the foil and sprinkle chocolate chips on top to melt.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
